Health law

Practice Overview

Ms. Zitzman represents health care providers and managed care organizations, focusing on regulatory compliance and interactions with governmental agencies and contractors.  Her practice includes analysis of federal fraud and abuse law, laws applicable to nonprofit and tax-exempt entities, Medicare/TennCare requirements, and legal issues involving  information privacy and security.  Ms. Zitzman also advises health care entities on operational issues, including internal investigations and licensing, reimbursement and contracting matters.
